The nights might be drawing in as we reach autumn proper, but there are still so many reasons to be cheerful here on the beautiful coast of North Devon. Whether you have a taste for entertainment, the arts or top local food and drink, here are just some of the highlights we’re looking forward to, all within easy reach of The Rising Sun Hotel and Restaurant, Lynmouth

Comedy Nights at Lynton Town Hall (Various Dates Nov-Dec)

Nothing brightens up a dark autumn night quite like a good dose of laughter. If live comedy is your thing, Lynton has some superb touring acts to tickle your funny bone in the coming weeks too, guaranteed to get locals and visitors alike in stitches! We’ve already had stellar names such as Phil Jupitus and Mark Steele in town, and more great entertainers are set to follow. Mock the Week star Gary Delaney performs on Sat 12th Nov, while Radio 4 and BBC comedy fans will be in for a treat the following weekend as Jeremy Hardy brings his acerbic wit to North Devon.

Call 01805 624624 for further information or visit Torrington’s The Plough Arts Centre website for further acts and bookings.
